TM internetwork products utilize three VPN standards.  For remote access connections from individual computers, the PPTP protocol is used.  IPSEC VPN for network-to-network connections is compatible with nearly any IPSEC product that supports 3DES/SHA1.  TM customers currently are using IPSEC to create VPN connections betweeen the following vendors' IPSEC gear:

• Nortel Contivity
• Cisco (various)
• Netscreen
• and others
