How does NetFlow Analyzer work? |
NetFlow Analyzer:
- Listens for NetFlow packets from TM and other NetFlow V5 compatible products
- Aggregates the flow data according to its configuration
- Saves raw and processed data historically for presentation via graphs and charts
The NetFlow Analyzer configuration determines how flows are grouped and organized for reporting purposes. One beneficial feature is the ability to see throughput by network link, which allows for capacity planning and fine-tuning of QoS rules.
